Eating in Stockholm, Sweden: Mäster Anders
I graduated from my master’s program a couple of weeks ago. A much-needed and long-awaited girl’s night was in order to celebrate. We went out dinner to restaurant called Mäster Anders.
Mäster Anders is a brasserie that opened in 1692 in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. It has a Swedish, French and American inspired menu. They serve escargot and delicious meat and seafood dishes.
The interior is lined with mirrors and plastered with buttercup yellow paint. One can peer into its exposed kitchen from your table while waiting for your meal.
I ordered Filet Mignon and paired it with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon from a winery called Red Stallion in Napa Valley, California. Everything tasted perfect. I would say this restaurant is now at the top of my favourite restaurants in Stockholm.
